Amber always quotes Tao Te Ching saying, "When the student is ready the teacher will appear". That was certainly true for me in 2021 when I came upon Amber's podcast: Biceps After Babies Radio. Her way of teaching instantly resonated with me. Since 2016, I had made many changes to my lifestyle. Being mindful of the quality of food I ate, incorporating movement into my daily life, eliminating many of the toxins I could control. Yet I was stuck! Stuck with my body goals and just stuck in life. I gave away my power so frequently that it left me feeling drained and hopeless. I worked with Amber first as a client in 2021 and then as a mentor from 2022-2023. She changed my life in such a powerful way by giving me what I didn't even know I needed, TRUST IN MYSELF. She empowered me to start listening to my Holy Spirit driven intuition and to stop looking outside myself for the answers. She helped me see how my mindset was keeping me from my goals. My life changed after I joined her group coaching program to lose weight and I did lose weight but I gained SO MUCH MORE. Then in 2022 l joined her Transformational Coaching Program and became certified because I knew I wanted to be able to do the same for my clients. Again she changed the way I thought. She helped me learn how to ask the right questions, listen and empower woman to trust themselves.

The rest of the quote from above says, “when the student is truly ready, the teacher will disappear.” While I am no longer in constant contact with Amber, what she taught me has continued to inspire the way I show up for my clients.

When I decided to put together this program together, I knew I wanted to incorporate Amber's course that had changed me so much. I am so blessed and grateful that she was willing to incorporate her course into the EmpowerHER Nutrition Offering.

Here is bit about Amber and her own words:

I’m a Registered Nurse, Personal Trainer, Crossfit Level 1 Coach, the founder of Macros 101 and the host of the Top 15 nutrition podcast: Biceps After Babies Radio. But most importantly, I’m a wife and a mom to my 4 kids.

I am a goal-setting girl boss who can’t imagine a world without chocolate and peanut butter (combined, preferably).

Most days you can find me trying to balance my life: cleaning up the kitchen too many times to count, making sure my kids eat a vegetable every now and then, and spending way too much time in my van shuttling everyone to school, gymnastics, and their friends’ houses. This is in addition to serving in my church, reading uplifting literature, and, of course, running Biceps After Babies ®.

It can be exhausting to keep all the balls in the air! But I know how important it is to recharge my own batteries. When I get my sweat on, throw some heavy weights around, and fuel my body with the right nutrition, I’m a better wife, mom, sister, and friend.
